This is Sundar Pichai with his mother and father, some time when he was living in Chennai, India.

He was so poor, his parents didn't have a phone, let alone a computer until he was 12.

He had to sleep in the living room with his brothers because his family lived in a small apartment.

Despite seemingly 'unfair' & difficult life, Sundar never gave up. He won a scholarship to study at Stanford University. Before that he was at the top of his class in Indian Institute of Technology.

Now he's the CEO of Alphabet Inc. (before that leading Google), one of the biggest and most powerful companies on the planet.

For me, Sundar Pichai is a perfect illustration that hard work and perseverance can empower you to achieve virtually everything in life.

Whatever your dream is, keep on chasing it. Never give up.
